Mary Johnson

Mrs. Mary Sue Johnson of Garden City, Missouri was born September 19, 1935 in Stafford, Missouri the daughter of Albert and Marjorie Helena (Peyton) West. She departed this life Thursday, February 8, 2007 at her home in Garden City at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 19 days.
Mary was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith and had lived in Plainfield, New Jersey before moving to Garden City in 1993.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, James and Paul West; a sister, Imogene Graves.
She is survived by three sons, Mark Johnson and Hubert Johnson both of Fairfax, Virginia, Matthew Johnson, Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter, Monica Hamilton, Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Betty Sparks and Edna Tanton both of Garden City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with interment in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
