Mary Evelyn Koshak, age 53, of Harrisonville, MO entered eternal life Tuesday, November 19, 2013 with her family at her side.
She was born July 18, 1960 to Melvin Beach and Evelyn Beach in Kansas City, MO, the second of two children.
Mary graduated from Hickman Mills High School in 1978 and soon began working as a hospital administrator at Research Medical Center. She went on to work here for over nineteen years.
She was married to Danny Jennings from 1979-1984. In 2000 she married her soul mate, Alan Koshak. They shared a fairy-tale, blissful life together on their small farm, where she enjoyed the peace of the verdant Missouri outdoors.
Mary is survived by her mother, Evelyn Beach of Harrisonville, MO; loving husband, Alan, of Harrisonville, MO; sister Melanie (Bill) Brunk of Pleasant Hill, MO; twin nieces, Deidra and Debrah Duncan of Lenexa, KS; step-children Tom Koshak of Belleville, IL and Katie Koshak of Springfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Beach of Harrisonville, MO.
Mary was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family asks you not shed tears for her passing; rather, smile for the wonderful times you shared with her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, MO.
Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. before the service on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, MO.
