Mary Lee Bonar

Mrs. Mary Lee Bonar, of Creighton, Missouri, was born September 10, 1914 near Urich, Missouri, the daughter of Herman and Maggie (Ade) Sites. She departed this life Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at her home near Creighton at the age of 94 years and 21 days.
On March 8, 1941 Mary was united in marriage to Everett Clark Bonar in Martin City, Missouri.
Mary Lee was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Garden City, Missouri.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett on December 30, 2004; one brother, John Sites and one sister, Lydia Smith.
She is survived by one son, David Bonar and wife Raye Ann, Creighton, Missouri; two daughters, Gladys Poisal and husband Kenneth, Creighton, Missouri and Betty Grable and husband Buck, Harrisonville, Missouri; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Dickey Funerl Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice or to the Byler Cemetery Association.
