Melvin Dewain Snow of Harrisonville, Missouri was born November 5, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Melvin and Ardith Nelle (Babylon) Snow. He departed this life on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Vitas Hospice, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 2 days.
Melvin was an assistant manager for Benson Lumber Company, Pleasant Hill, Missouri until his retirement. He was a lifelong area resident. A 1961 graduate of Harrisonville, Missouri where he participated in football, basketball and track. He enjoyed his family, the outdoors and riding motorcycles.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarina and three grandchildren; a sister, Ginger Milner, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial graveside service was held Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Rose Hill Cemetery near Latour, Missouri.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Cass County Cremation Service, Harrisonville, Missouri.
