Michael 'Mike' G. Wrigley

Michael George "Mike" Wrigley of Independence, Missouri was born October 29, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of George Higgins and Georgia Lee (Slavens) Wrigley. He departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2016 as a result of a construction accident in Independence at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 21 days.
Mike was employed as a carpenter for American Industries Midwest in Independence, Missouri. He had lived in Harrisonville until moving to Independence. Mike was a 1976 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He enjoyed in family, hunting, fishing, camping and going to the lake.
Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Hubler.
Mike is survived by a son, Matt Wrigley, Harrisonville, Missouri; a daughter, Melissa Wrigley, Harrisonville, Missouri; a grandson, Dylan McGee and a grandchild on the way; three sisters, Teresa Salsbury and husband, Steve, Belton, Missouri; Judy L. Miller and husband Dennis, Edwards, Missouri, Donna Scott and husband, Lucin, Kingsville, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation was held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Final arrangements entrusted to Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
