Micky L. Amos

Micky Lee Amos, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born February 21, 1951 in Danville, Illinois the son of Walter Homer and Norma Jean (Porter) Amos.  He departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Micky was employed as a welder and later worked for Anaconda, Harrisonville.  He loved to draw and was a very good artist.  Micky enjoyed camping and being outdoors.  He was a very talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar, electric keyboard and the drums.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Amos.

Micky is survived by 5 sons, Nicky Amos, Ronald Amos, Micky Amos Jr., Shawn Amos and Micah Amos; a daughter, Christina Amos; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter H. Amos Jr. and John T. Amos; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.  

Family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
