Mildred Leona Leavell of Archie, Missouri was born March 21, 1941 near Urich, Missouri the daughter of Charles Edward and Hattie E. (Groce) Kagarice. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Adrian Manor, Adrian, Missouri at the age of 68 years and 4 days.
Mildred was united in marriage to Darrell Leavell and to this union two children, Kevin and Ramona was born.
Mildred was employed as a cashier for Texaco Convenience Store on 291 Highway in Harrisonville, Missouri. Earlier, she was employed at Bakan Plastics, Lee? Summit, Missouri. Mildred enjoyed her family, feeding birds, her dogs and sewing. She had lived near Ballard before moving to Archie.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Jack, Gene, Walter, Carl, Don and Junior; two sisters, Ema and Hazel.
She is survived by a son, Kevin L. Leavell and wife, Patty, Archie, Missouri; a daughter, Ramona Anderson and husband, Gerald, Adrian, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, Joshua and Jennie; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Kagarice, Peculiar, Missouri, Rob Kagarice, Spruce, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Mildred Leavell Memorial Fund.
