Orville E. Ervin

Orville Everette Ervin of Peculiar, Missouri was born June 8, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Otis and Irene May (Otto) Ervin. He departed this life on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 22 days.
On September 30, 1951, Orville was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Reed in Kansas City, Missouri.
Orville was employed as a millwright for General Motors Leeds Plant in Kansas City until his retirement in April of 1982. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the UAW Local 93, Kansas City. He enjoyed his family the family farm, horses, motorcycles and the outdoors. Orville had lived in Raytown, Missouri before moving to Peculiar in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Ervin of the home; two sons, Dennis Ervin, Belton, Missouri, Tad Ervin, Peculiar, Missouri; a sister, Frances Jackson, Olathe, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.
Family desires cremation. No services scheduled.
