Patricia Heishman

Mrs. Patricia Ann Heishman, of Peculiar, Missouri, was born November 15, 1935 in New Franklin, Missouri the daughter of Robert Lee and Charlesa (Treaster) Simmons. She departed this life Monday, October 31, 2011 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 16 days.
On September 5, 1953, Patricia was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Heishman Sr. in Northeast Kansas City, Missouri.
Patricia was a homemaker and also drove a bus for the handicapped who worked at the Cassco Area Workshop in Harrisonville, Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and read numerous books over the years. Patricia had lived in Lake Annette, Missouri before moving to Peculiar.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Eugene Heishman Jr. on March 1, 2008.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert E. Heishman Sr. of the home; three daughters, Vicky Dierkens and husband Marvin, Liberty, Missouri, Marcia Lowe and husband Greg, Shasta Lakes, California, Polly Heishman, Shawnee, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Jill Heishman, Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, John, Regina, Julian, Jordan, Hannah and Alexis; three great-grandchildren, JR, Haley and Taylor; a brother, Paul Simmons, State of Colorado; a sister, Mary Francis Miller, Dallas, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Fri., November 4, 2011 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, MO with burial in the Peculiar Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
