Patrick Graves

Patrick Myron Graves of Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 8 days.
A celebration of life services were held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Harrisonville Community Center, 2400 Jefferson Parkway, Harrisonville. Cremation. Patrick was born September 17, 1940 in Kansas City, Mo. the son of Richard Lee and Marion Jean (Bowers) Graves.
On May 12, 1990, Patrick was united in marriage to Ruby Karen (Cartee) Gingell in East Lynne, Missouri.
Patrick was employed as an operations manager for Kansas City Periodicals, Lenexa, Kansas until his retirement in 2003. He was formerly employed at the Harrisonville Community Center. Patrick was a Mason and Shriner and had lived in Kansas City before moving to Harrisonville. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren. Patrick liked the outdoors, fishing, camping, playing scratcher lottery tickets, Mexican train dominoes and collecting everything.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Graves of the home; two sons, Michael P. Graves and wife, Debbie, Kevin A. Graves and wife, Christy all of Harrisonville, Missouri; two daughters, Traci Hoskins and husband, Tim, Peculiar, Missouri, Lisa Amey and husband, Chris, Anderson, Missouri; two step-daughters, Stacey Menchue, Shawnee, Kansas, Sherry Gingell, Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Graves, Harrisonville, Mo.; two sisters, Sandra Nordlund, Patricia Witt both of Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
