Patrick M. Leach

Patrick Michael “Pat” Leach, 35, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born November 7, 1977, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of George John and Emma Jo (Wilson) Leach. He departed this life Friday, November 1, 2013, at his home surrounded with love and family.
Patrick was a 1996 Kansas City Center High School Graduate. On September 13, 2008, he was united in marriage to Angela Dawn Hutchens in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Patrick had been employed as a Warehouseman for Target in Lee’s Summit and later for the Wal-Mart distribution center in Harrisonville. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, camping, and hiking; he especially loved music.
Patrick is survived by his wife Angela, and his two year old son Reilly Leach of the home; his parents John and Emma Leach of Lee’s Summit; two brothers Randy (and Katricia) Leach of Kearney, Missouri, and Johnny Leach of Olathe, Kansas; one sister Christine Leach of Lee’s Summit; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, Lee’s Summit. Pastor Wendy Minshall minister of the church will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Josh Cates, Cody Leach, Dalton Leach, Dylan Leach, Johnny Leach, Luke Leach, and Randy Leach.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Reilly Leach education fund or the Stephanie Vest Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
