Philip Kirk Gough of Belton, Missouri was born July 6, 1951 in Harrisonville, Missouri the son of Bob Joe and Dorothy Marie (Gwinner) Gough. He departed this life Thursday, August 10, 2006, Raymore Health Care, Raymore, Missouri at the age of 55 years, 1 month and 4 days.
Philip had lived in Garden City, Peculiar and Platte City, Missouri before moving to Belton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Platte City, Missouri. Philip was a 1969 graduate of Raymore-Peculiar High School, Peculiar, Missouri and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri. Philip enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, wooded areas and nature.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob J. Gough.
He is survived by a son, Jacob Gough, Independence, Missouri; his mother, Dorothy M. Gough, Raymore, Missouri; a brother, Perry E. Gough and wife, Lynda, Belton, Missouri; a sister, Penny L. Gough, Grandview, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation with no services scheduled. Family suggest contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservation Department and may be sent to Dickey Funeral Home P. o. Box 432 Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
