Randy Daryl Hoshor of Iberia, Missouri was born August 22, 1952 in Harrisonville, Missouri the son of Dean Daryl and Ruth Gertrude (Kissinger) Hoshor. He departed this life Thursday, January 19, 2006 at his home at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 27 days.
Randy grew up in the Garden City, Missouri area and was a 1971 graduate of the Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri. He received his associates degree from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri. Randy was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jerry Hoshor.
He is survived by a son, Ryan D. Hoshor and wife Sarah, Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, Megan L. Sneed, MD and husband Ryan, Chicago, Illinois; two grandchildren, Jackson Ryan Hoshor and Jacob Ryan Sneed; his mother, Trudy Hoshor; two brothers, Mark T. Hoshor, Dothan, Alabama, Danny J. Hoshor, Lees Summit, Missouri; two sisters, Carla D. Vogt, Urich, Missouri, Neva J. Allen, Knob Noster, Missouri; his companion, Cauline Edmonson; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Randy D. Hoshor Memorial Fund.
