Raymond J. Burger

Raymond John Burger, 68, of Pleasant Hill, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, was born Friday, June 11, 1943 in Chicago, the son of Clarence Leroy, Sr. and Helen (Bukowski) Burger. He departed this life at 3:01 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Benchmark Healthcare Center of Harrisonville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Arthur Burger, and a sister Betty Creamer.
Raymond is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Clarence and Nancy Burger of Pleasant Hill; one sister Virginia Ellen Metke of Chicago; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services and inurnment were held on Saturday, June 9, 2012, in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reverend D. Kent Deubner of the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church will officiate. Full military honors were provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3118 Honor Guard.
