Richard James Burger

Richard Burger, age 69, passed away in his home on February 13, 2025. Known for his warm smile and generous heart, Richard was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A devoted father, he leaves behind his beloved son, Matt (Dana) Burger and his cherished daughter, Niki Burger. Richard was also a proud grandfather to Luke and Brielle Burger. His joy in his family was evident to all who saw him.

For many years, Rick worked at the Fishing Dock Restaurant, where his kindness and humor left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. 

If you knew Rick he had a heart of gold. He took so many others under his wing, gave second chances to many, and even loved many like his own family. Outside of work, he found joy on the golf course, where he could often be found perfecting his swing or sharing a laugh with friends. An avid sports fan and die hard Steelers fan, Rick's passion for his teams was rivaled only by his love for his family and community.

Rick's legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

celebration of his life will be held at the Fishing Dock, 101 SW Outer Rd Archie, MO 64725  Monday February 17, 2025 from 3-7pm. 

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
