Ronald E. Goodwin

Ronald Edward Goodwin, Belton, Missouri was born May 19, 1940 in Evansville, Indiana the son of Elmer and Virginia (Knight) Goodwin. He came from a large family of 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 5 days.

On February 18, 1961, Ronald was united in marriage to Gaynell Johnson in Springfield, Tennessee.

Ronald was employed by several companies as a commercial truck driver hauling commercial freight until his retirement. He was an Army veteran.  Ronald enjoyed the outdoors especially going to Bennett Springs fishing.  He had lived in Yankeetown, Indiana and Grandview, Missouri before moving to Belton, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Gaynell Goodwin of the home; other relatives and a host of friends.

Cremation with no services scheduled.
