Mrs. Rose P. Fiore, age 85, of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Golden Years Care Services in Harrisonville. She was born on April 29, 1920, the daughter of Vincent and Lenora Panitieri.
On June 22, 1947, Rose was united in marriage to Hannibal S. Fiore in Fairview, New Jersey.
Rose was a dedicated mother and wife. She was employed during World War II at the Alcoa Plant in Edgewater, New Jersey as a supervisor of a group doing spectrographic analysis of aluminum ingots, which were rolled out into sheet aluminum used in the fuselage and wings of military aircraft. After World War II, she was selected to be the executive secretary for the president of Alcoa on Park Avenue in New York City. Rose was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent, a Franciscan Monk and two sisters, Lenora and Catherine.
Rose is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hannibal Fiore of the home; a daughter, Laura Fiore, Harrisonville, Missouri; two sons, Dr. Joseph Fiore and wife Shannon, San Diego, California, John Fiore, Las Cruces, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Abi Sutton and Josh Lennard; two great-grandchildren, Dominick and Zachary; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
