Rose Reitz

Rose Alice Reitz of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born June 20, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of David and Betty (Claypool) McEntire. She departed this life on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Crown Care Center Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 70 years old, surrounded by love and family. 

On January 17, 1970, Rose was united in marriage to Ricky Dale Reitz in Garden City, Missouri. 

Rose was a homemaker, as well as working in the manufacturing industry, restaurant industry and environmental services at Crown Care Center. 

She was a kind soul and full of life. She had 4 biological children, but many others called her mom. She enjoyed singing and dancing to the oldies, also loved watching scary movies. Rose loved animals, especially her cat Smokey. Rose loved spending time with her grandkids and the rest of the family. Anyone that met Rose loved her and became her friend. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky, granddaughter Allison, 2 sisters, Sharon Hampton, and Ruth Wiltz. 

Rose is survived by, a son Richard Dale Reitz, Archie, Missouri; Three Daughters, Shanda Greenwood and husband Robert, Archie, Missouri, Paula Davidson and husband James, Parkville, Missouri, Tonya Morris, Nevada, Missouri. 7 grandchildren, Brandon, Halie, Wylie, Tiffany, Kelsey, Whitney, and Logan. 3 greatgrandchildren Daxton, Brooklyn, and Novalynn; a brother Michael McEntire, Adrian, Missouri. Other Relatives and many friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m Monday, April 3, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with inurnment at Dayton Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri. Family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at the funeral Home.
