Ruby Marie Groblebe

Ruby Marie “Bing” Groblebe, 86, of East Lynne, MO passed away peacefully at her home on July 10th, 2023.

Marie was born in Eureka Springs, AR to Clarence William McCoy & Willie Audrey McCoy on July 18, 1936.

Marie married Jack Donald Groblebe on August 6, 1954 In Eureka Springs, AR.  Jack and Marie spent their life together living in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Kansas City, MO; Deepwater, MO & East Lynne, MO.

Marie was the loving mother of 4 children who throughly enjoyed gardening, wood working, completing puzzles and camping and fishing with family and friends. Marie’s best memories were spent with her kids and grandkids.

Marie was a childcare provider, worked alongside her husband and his painting business, served as the janitor for the East Lynne Elementary School District and East Lynne Baptist Church.

Marie was proceeded in death by her husband Jack Donald Groblebe, her father and step mother; Clarence and Ova McCoy, mother and step father; Willie and John Hatcher, brothers; Garland McCoy, AJ McCoy, James McCoy, sisters; Edna Darity, Orene Faulkner, half-brothers; Robert “Bobby” Hatcher, Johnny Lee “Dickey” Hatcher, half- sisters; Joyce Ann Hatcher, Judy Hatcher.

Marie leaves behind her 4 children; Jackie Groblebe (Jeannie Davis) of Harrisonville, MO, Judith Sumner (Kelly) of Harrisonville, MO, Glenda Hurst of East Lynne, MO, Linda Bale (Ken) Harrison, AR.

Marie was known as Bing to 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Everyone who grew up in our community knew her as “Grandma Bing”

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
