Ruby Marshall

Mrs. Ruby Mae Marshall, of Kansas City, Missouri, was born January 29, 1924 in Fulton, Missouri, the daughter of Paul Gilbert and Nellie Ethyl (Blythe) Holt. She departed this life Saturday, February 11, 2006, St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City at the age of 82 years and 13 days.
On November 20, 1945, Ruby was united in marriage to Walter Lee Marshall in Fulton, Missouri.
Ruby was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville. Ruby enjoyed her family, quilting and flowers. She had lived in Fulton, Kansas City, Freeman and Harrisonville, Missouri before moving back to Kansas City in 2003.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Marshall on October 30, 2003; two brothers, Raymond and Donald Holt.
She is survived by three sons, Larry L. Marshall, Kansas City, Missouri, Mike Marshall, Overland Park, Kansas, Rick Marshall and wife Chris, Saudi Arabia; two grandchildren, Michael and Mandy; four brothers, P.G. Holt and Roy Lee Holt both of the State of Kentucky, Bobby Holt and Billy Holt both of Fulton, Missouri; two sisters, Martha Morris, Fulton, Missouri, Wanda Randall, North Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, Fulton, Missouri with burial in the Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lukes Heart Institute, Kansas City, Missouri.
