Sarah Sally Brockhoff

Mrs. Sarah ?Sally? Brockhoff, of Harrisonville, MO was born July 2, 1930 in Horton, KS the daughter of C.A. and Oleita Carter. She passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Crown Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 80 years.
On September 19, 9147, Sally was united in marriage to Raymond ""Wally"" Brockhoff in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Sally was employed at Josten?s Yearbook, Topeka, Kansas over 30 years until her retirement in 1995. She was a past member of the Berryton Baptist Church, Topeka, and a member of the Josten?s Retiree?s Club, Red Hat Society, and the Bensen Palms RV Park Club. Sally loved life and spending time with family and friends. She and Wally were excellent dancers and loved music. As ?Winter Texans? and they loved their winter trips to Texas. Sally lived in the Topeka area for 40 years before moving to Harrisonville, MO in her later years to be near family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond ?Wally? Brockhoff of 51 years; a brother, John Carter and a sister, Betty Vaughn.
Sally is survived by three sons, Ron Brockhoff and wife Jeanne, Harrisonville, MO; Rod Brockhoff and wife Jacquie, Kansas City, MO, Jeff Brockhoff and wife Alma, El Paso, TX; two daughters, Jan Keating and husband Don, Melody Ray, Louisburg, KS; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Witcher and husband J. Frank, Shawnee, KS; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Hiawatha City Cemetery, Hiawatha, KS.
