Sharron Kay Polzin of Creighton, Missouri was born February 14, 1944 the daughter of Coyd and Esther (Steuber) Niemeyer. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 6 days.
On May 22, 1960 Sharron was united in marriage to Bobby Joe Polzin in Creighton, Missouri.
Sharron was employed for the past 25 years as an assembler for Peterson Manufacturing, Co. in Grandview, Missouri. She was a faithful member of Salvation Lutheran Church, Harrisonville. Sharron was a dedicated Jayhawks fan and a huge supporter of the Sherwood Marksman. She attended as many games as possible to support her children and grandchildren. She took great pride in supporting all veterans in the Honor Flight Program and making Christmas packages for overseas veterans. Sharron was a lifelong area resident.
Besides her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe on April 9, 2006 and a brother, Tommy.
Sharron is survived by a son, Rob Pozin (Tina), Garden City, Missouri; three daughters, Cindy Cumpton (Curt), Urich, Missouri, Linda Helm, Garden City, Missouri, Brenda Escalante (Marcos), Urich, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Kaylon, Chancey, Amanda (Doyle Catron), Jonathan, Bobbie Jo, Nicholas, Jodi, Addi, Bradyn and Carter; 2 step-grandchildren, Cody and Kenadie; 3 great-grandchildren, Trenton, Chloe and Lane; 2 sisters, Shirley Stumpff, Holden, Missouri, Susie Gardner, Springfield, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Burial will is in the Lutheran Cemetery, Creighton, Missouri.
