Telli Jo Atkinson

July 30, 1976 — June 5, 2014

Telli Jo Atkinson (Phillips), 37, Archie, Missouri, lost her battle to cancer Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Kansas City Hospice House. Telli was born July 30th, 1976, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ronnie and Bink Phillips. She attended grade school at Hickman Mills, later moving to Harrisonville her freshman year. She graduated from Harrisonville High School in 1994.
Telli started working at Western Bag in 2000; it was purchased by Ash Grove Packaging in 2003 and she worked there as the office manager through the present. Telli enjoyed her job and made many great friendships there.
On November 17, 2001, Telli married Kendall. They loved to travel, mostly going on cruises, and spending time at their lake house at the Lake of the Ozarks with family and friends. Telli had a great love for life and always had her camera to make sure she captured the great memories we all share. Another passion of Telli’s was her love for animals, mostly cats, including bottle-feeding and finding good homes for many strays. Telli leaves behind four spoiled cats of her own and her donkey, Floyd.
Telli was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie, in 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Kendall Atkinson; stepchildren Dakota and Cheyene; her mother, Bink Phillips; brother, Troy Phillips and wife Tracy and nieces Hailey and Hannah; father-in-law, Richard Atkinson; sister-in-law, Andrea Holthaus and husband Chris and nephews Tyler and Jacob and niece Maddie; uncle and aunt, Dale and Shirley Phillips; and her dearest friend, Shelby Darby, and many other family members and friends.
