Victoria Jacobs-Moore

April 6, 1990 — May 26, 2015

Victoria was born in Kansas City, MO and was a 2008 graduate from Harrisonville High School. It was clear early on that she was destined to be a writer and speaker as she received second place in the state with her essay for “Outstanding Spokesperson for Freedom” in the “Voice of Democracy” competition. She earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees in English Literature from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, MO. Her retention of knowledge was amazing and effortless.
She married Bryce D. Moore on July 14, 2012. A complimentary pair, they were soulmates from the beginning. If you asked either of them, they would tell you everyday they spent together was the best day of their lives.
Next to her faith in God, Vic treasured family & friends above all else. She was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and a true friend to many. Strong and confident, she was a natural leader. She was so very loving, kind and charming. Her quick wit and sass was ever present, as well as a gentle, quiet and nurturing side too. She was a true patriot for her country and she was quick to put anyone in their place if they had anything bad to say about a Veteran.
Vic expanded her family circle as a nanny to Alivia, Ayla & Addox, three sweet children that she cherished dearly. She worked for this family but if you were to ask her, she would call it a privilege to care for them.
We were so fortunate to have you, Vic, for 25 years. You sure packed a whole lotta life in your time here with us. You were the epitome of “Seizing the Day”! You left footprints of memories with all of us, in all different ways. We will forever cherish the spark in your beautiful eyes and your bright contagious smile that radiated the room. Your laughter will linger and your spirit will remain with us. You made us very proud with not only your accomplishments but more importantly how you lived your life, making no apologies for your opinion while showing respect and courtesy for advice. You lived to help others and your legacy will live on. We know that you had accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and that is a comfort knowing that we will all be together again one day. In fact, we hope that Heaven was prepared for when you came barging in saying, “Lucy, I’m HOME”!
Victoria is survived by her husband Bryce D. Moore; her parents, Richard and Rehnee Jacobs; two brothers, David Moran (April), Toby Page (Kimberly); two sisters, Wendy Saffels (Ryan), Sarah Eager; nieces and nephews, Austin, Addison, Dylan, Emma, Levi, Reuben, Shannon, Zander, Mason, Anna, Mallory, Nicholas, Kathryn and Lauren; many relatives and countless friends.
She is preceded in death by her nephew, Jacob Eager.
