William Junior Hendrix, of Harrisonville, Missouri, formerly of Visalia, California was born December 22, 1929 in Bloodland, Missouri the son of William Lee and Thelma Vernice (Dean) Hendrix. He departed this life Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 82 years and 14 days.
On December 25, 1948, William was united in marriage to Annamae Louise Mudgett in Modesto, California.
William was a truck driver for Knudsen’s in California. He was a City League Softball Coach for 15 years in Visalia, California.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth J. Hendrix on January 23, 1975.
William is survived by his wife, Annamae Hendrix of Harrisonville; four daughters, Audrey C. Childress and husband Teddy, Simi Valley, California, Sandy Montano and husband Raymond, Visalia, California, Gina Eidson and husband Randy, Bakersfield, California, Marie Bradley and husband David, Harrisonville, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. No services scheduled.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
