William 'John Boy' Richards

William John "John Boy" Richards of Blairstown, Missouri was born October 8, 1972 the son of Wayne and Jeanneie Louellen (Williams) Richards. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home in Blairstown at the age of 42 years, 9 months and 21 days.
John Boy was employed as a boiler maker for Local #83, Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of Cass Masonic Lodge #147 A. F. & A. M. and enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, fishing and giving everyone a hard time. John Boy was a lifelong area resident.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
John Boy is survived by his life partner, Jenny D. Cumpton of the home; his father, Wayne Richards, Garden City, Missouri; two brothers, Michael Wayne Richards, Garden City, Missouri, Steve Wayne Richards, Overland Park, Kansas; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
