Zona Hertzberg

Mrs. Zona Gaston Hertzberg, of Belton, Missouri, was born November 3, 1915 near Garden City, Missouri, the daughter of William David and Emma Bell (Famuliner) Patton. She departed this life Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at her home at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 13 days.
Zona was united in marriage to Elmo Gaston, Hallie Leavell and Floyd Hertzberg.
Zona was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville, Missouri the Royal Neighbors and the Index Auxiliary Club, both of Garden City. Zona enjoyed china and oil painting. She had lived in Garden City, Creighton, near Archie and Harrisonville, Missouri before moving to Belton in 2001.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, Elmo, Hallie and Floyd; a brother, William J. Patton.
She is survived by three daughters, Maisie M. Cavanah and husband Richard, Harrisonville, Missouri; Joyce N. Steele and husband Robert, Belton, Missouri, Theresa J. Bryson, Hollywood, Florida; eight grandchildren, Robert, Jerry, Krisanne, Diana, Herbert, Russell, Heather and Heidi; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Harrisonville.
